Nice job Shawn! Got my osage slats all cleaned up today and slice came out really well. Will taper the slats tomorrow and plan for glue up again before Thursday!!!

Praying everything goes well with this one. About finished with my leather wrap on my back up bow which is shooting great! Nice and compact for turkey season!!!

Congrats David and nice job Shawn, fine looking bow.

Mine's all done just waiting on the go ahead to ship.  If I get time I might throw a little something together to go with it.

Congrats David.  Thats a great looking bow.  Wonderful job Shawn.

Well I got more feedback than I thought I would.  Everyone says no wrap so no wrap it is.  I don't like wrapping them much either,I don't like covering up the wood but it was just a thought.  The grip is a little skinny is why I was wondering.  It fits my hand really really nicely but I have skinny girl shaped hands. I just see how it fits ****************** hand.

Finally back home after a week in Southern Illinois for my sister-in-law's wedding.  Have to work the next two days, but have a three day weekend off after that.  Should be able to get the handle sanded up and maybe even get her glued up in the form this weekend.  Sure would be nice, anyway.

I've also got to figure out some sort of a vacuum chamber to stabilize/dye some of that sycamore for my bro's bow.  I think I've got an idea - just hope it works!  If it does, it's gonna be one sweet looking bow.  I'll def. post pics of it as she gets under way.

I am almost fully tillered on my test bow (hickory stick bow) and excited to try some scalloping on the tips and limbs...not the large scalloping like that of an Eastern Woodland bow but like that of a hungery beaver!  Hope to have some picts to post before too long.  I have been meaning to make a bow for a friends kid...this one should be perfect!

Congrats on the new baby Craig.

My BBI trade bow I thought was having a problem on the lower limb. Looked like a mark in the finish and,I was worried, about a,Crysal . I used steel wool to take the finish off and could not see anything,in the wood.
Have shot about 75 more shots and no,sign of trouble.
Shoots  really good for me. Glueing up a trilam as back up.

Well, my swap bow is finished.  Here's some pics.  I've got to get to Lowes/Home Depot to get some PVC before I ship it out, so sometime next week it should be in it's new home.

The downside is that since I already received my bow fro Cory, once I ship this my swap for 2013 is over   "[dntthnk]"  I guess I shouldn't whine since I received a dandy bow and I am pleased at how this one turned out.  Hopefully my recipient feels the same way.
