Thanks for all the nice words guys!  I thought about the finish all day at work and came home and sanded all 3 coats of the thunderbird off.  I thought I would be shipping this weekend but ********* will have to wait a little longer.

Great looking bows all the way around guys!

The skin was from a friend who found it with his jeep tire.  To make it work it needed to be cut in half but it was skinny on both ends so it wouldn't have covered a whole limb.  I like that it didn't cover up the knot and with the seasoned back it blends in well in my opinion.  I've shot it a couple of times after putting the skins on and it will put a 490 grain arrow where I'm looking at 15 yards.  About 250 shots through it and i'm thinking it's time to finish it up.  Maybe I'll bring it to OJAM and possibly just give it to my recipient if he is attending.

Well, I just got home to see this on my door step!

I could not wait to put her together and get a couple of arrow out!

Jim Rocole, I love the wood combo in the riser, and the lams are amazing! This bow draws very smooth!

Thanks Jim!

:clapper:   Congrats Thad!  Great looking bow Jim.

I'm hoping my recipient gets his bow soon, or me and USPS will have some problems.

Nice bows guys!  I've got a new set of lams ground and ready.  Need to get some glass from Kenny and get the riser glued up and cut out.  Not sure how much work I'll get to do since I'm on nights this weekend, but should be able to have Take II glued up by next weekend, then maybe done and shipped a couple weeks after that.

Gaining on my bow slowly. Got it floor tillered and started to shape it more and more. Still want to dress it up some but don't really know how I am gonna do this so far. Time will tell when I get it further along and to brace height. Probably have that all done by Tuesday or so. I haven't seen hide nor hair of many people yet... where is everyone else at?

I will get some pictures up soon!

Great looking bows fellas!!

Had some time to work yesterday afternoon and got my recipient's bow tillered out to 20".  I'll try to snap some pics soon and get them up. I also am about done with the finish work on the mock up I made.  Didn't want the fella who drew me to think I'd gone off the map.
