If you sent it to Alaska, we are in the middle of a snowstorm and I haven't seen any fresh tracks in the snow..not even dogsled....

Earlier this week the weather forecasters were calling for the temps to be rising over the next week. After hearing that I was smiling bigtime.  :bigsmyl:   I just knew I would be able to get my trade bows final finish sprayed on so I could ship.

Now they are calling for another 4"-6" of snow starting tomarrow.  :help:

Is warmer weather ever going to get here???

I am thinking the same thing Troy... It's cold as heck here and makes getting into the garage a challenge.

We're getting the same forecast over here in Iowa, Troy.  I'm really hoping they're wrong.  Or maybe that it'll pass over me and head your direction    :bigsmyl:

Anyway, I'm all ready for two glue ups, but waiting on some replacement glass and new glue.  I'm done with this Versamid crap.  It'll be good enough for risers but it's too hard to get good glue joints so I won't be using it on limbs anymore.  If you've got a good joint it's fine, but it has absolutely no gap filling properties.

I got some awesome pink actionwood from Cory yesterday (thanks again!    )  , so I may start on my sister's bow, just for something to do while I'm waiting.  Might as well get 3 bows ready while I'm waiting!

New forcast is now calling to 6-10". Thank goodness I insulated my shop to the hilt. The small oil filled heater keeps it between 60-70 degrees. If it gets really cold I pull out the small space heater to boost the temps.

Still, I need higher outdoor temps to spray. Just can't see having overspray on all my machines.

D,

Wish I had room to do that. Due to the high cost of building materials I had to reduce the size of my shop to be able to build. With all the saws, grinders and other machines I have, I'm now forced to pull out the machine I need, use it and then push it back against the wall to have enough room to move around.

Guess I just have to be happy with what I have for now and wait for warm weather to spray.

Just wet, windy, and only a little chilly down here. I just hate to work on a bow in the damp air.

I don't know Mike.  From just that single picture above, it kind of looks like a paddle with a couple holes in it.  I guess your recipient could use it to beat Roy.

Now show us some more pics.  We all know it's gotta be a real looker coming from you.
