Nice work all. I just got back after being gone with the family for a week down in TX for spring break, and will start back up this week on my trade bow.

Hey Troy I'm right there with ya on the no room.  I get so tired of walking around my table saw I just wanna throw it out in the yard sometime.  The idea I was thinking about for myself was talking some wire coathangers and make a circle and drap the plastic over it so that it would hold it out away....kind of like what the old shower curtains on old claw foot bathtubs look like.  That might not work though.  Not to mension that it might let some of the dryspray settle on the bow.  Anyway just brainstroming a little.

Brushwolf I'm sure that whoever gets that will be completly pleased with it.

I shot ******'s some today trying to shoot it in some.  I'm still not feeling up to par yet so couldn't shoot much but getting better so I hope to finish it up this week.

D.,

Luckly enough I have casters on all my machines, I can role them out into the open area to use, then back against the wall when finished.

Still, some pieces like the tablesaw make it hard to get by when they are out in the open area.

Looks good Craig.  Right side a little stiff?  Get a short string on it.  I've really messed myself up going to far with the long string before!

Yup, i'm with canopyboy on both counts.  Get a short string on that baby quick.  I wouldn't remove a bit more wood until then, because the short string will give you more bend in the mid/outer limbs (esp outer) and give you a better look at the tiller.

Well I have >>>>'s bow ready to ship. When I started this bow it was built with the plan of being a trade bow. After I got it finished the thought of keeping it whispered through my mind. It was done just in time to for me to take it on the St Judes hog hunt. While in camp this bow got a workout. Some very talented shooters sent several arrows thru it. They all seemed to fall in love with this bow. On the ten hour drive home I told my wife that I would make >>>>>>>'s bow just like this one. She said that I should just go ahead and send this one. She thought since everyone that shot it really liked the bow that it would make "someone" a nice shooter. After awhile I got to thinking and decided it would fit >>>> better than me. So I went along with my better half. Now with that said I am really going to miss it. It seems to shoot as fast as any bow I have built. And is for sure it's the quietest one to date.

Brushwolf that is one mighty fine looking bow and I can see why you might be reluctant to ship it off to someone.

Well, tomorrow will be a week from scedualed shipping date. USPS tracking had delivery attempted last Tuesday with retrys for the next to days before being shipped back to me. That makes last Thursday the last attempt. If it doesn't show up here this week I can only assume that my guy got it okay because my wife threw away my tracking number.  Figures the one time she decides to clean she throws away something important to me.    :deadhorse:

I know my recipient doesn't post much so hopefully he got it safely and he has been to busy shooting it to log on.  I couldn't find any info on him so I just copied the bow he sent out last year to his recipient.

Lots of good looking bows being shipped and in the works.  I've been watching my porch also.

Mike I especially like yours, hope it's coming my way.
