Nice bows guys! I spent half a day shaping and sanding yesterday and think I've finally got it to where its ready for finish. I had to put it down for a day though. I'm not sure about the grip, so I'll come back to it tomorrow and see if it still feels good. I just remembered I still need to make a string for it too. I'll have to do that tomorrow as well.
On a side note, I'm kinda stoked about another one I've started on for a "customer". He requested something special on it, and after some serious 'how the crap am I gonna do that?' kind of thinking, I remembered an old friend with a cnc. If this works its gonna open up a whole new artistic avenue for me
Gonna try to meet with him in the morning if I can figure out why my bandsaw is being gay.

Well cabbage you can't just talk about this new cool idea and not say what it is...
I got the new riser in the oven at the moment. I hated to cut the other one off but it just had to be done..just had to..it was absolutly bugging the crap out of me....sorry for being dramatic..lol

D, this first one is just a little thing, but I'm already getting ideas for some wicked lams, riser inlays and designs -- with a cnc at my disposal, the possibilities are only limited by the material. With precision down to .001", who knows?

Troy if that comes my way they would have to pry it from my cold dead hands. Awesome looking bow and I'm sure it shoots as well as it looks.

Got the new riser glued on tonight. Its in the oven right now at the moment. Its been in there for about four hours. Unplugged it and gonna let it set all night and tomorrow. Work on it when I get home from work tomorrow.

Sanded off the excess glue and cleaned the riser blocks...
...and fitted the riser to the form...
