well my day started with snow! had to shovel the feed bunks, did wonders for my slipped disc.  :(  then while feeding, the tierod broke on the truck, more fun. kept getting worse all day, but hey it's finally my friday and i get my 2 days a month off. woohoo!! go to town, get pulled over, expired tabs on wifes van, BLASTED!!! get to the post office and our friend Kip (coaster500) sent me a beautiful black tube and inside, wrapped in a nice bow sock is that SWEET yew stick he did up. well, after near a hundred shots in backyard, my wife is gonna kill me. aint had dinner and our company is, well, understanding. will get pics up tomorrow if i can find the camera. thanks kip, that thing is a work of art. definatly going for a moose with her this year.

To Razorback,,

No shorts, but it took 20 minutes before I could trust my hand to use a knife to begin the field dressing chores...decided to use that time to walk back to the cabin to get my two oldest daughters to help out..they thought my grin was going to split my face in two...ha

I'm glad that hunk O Yew made it safe to your door Moose....  always get nervous when it has to sit in customs for a bit ???

I hope you enjoy it and stick a moose with it. It should do the job with that loooong draw of yours. Please send me a picture when it happens   :)

This bow is a beauty, I ain't much of a recurve guy but this sweet thing just may convert me! The grip is the best one I've held on a curve for sure.

Now off to the mines to scout for cave bear LOL

Moose, sounds like an overall good day, you are a lucky man! I got a Kip bow last year and it is the only bow that I didn't make that I keep in my house , all my other bows sleep in the rafters of my shop. Congradations and you will enjoy that bow!

well rest-in-pieces cascara self bow. had 186 shots on her and 187 was just not a good number. on to the ash flatbow for my victim.

on a good note though. i took out that beautiful yew after to blow off some frustration. will be having rabbit for dinner, got 4 of them. and got 3 gophers. swear that bow is far more accurate than i could ever be. got one gopher at about 30yds. lost my composure and started dancing.   :D  thanks again Kip, and sorry ********** but it will be a couple more weeks on yours.

Don't know what it is about me and these trades, always seem to draw you long armed shooters. This year you and last year Ralph!!!!

I am soooooooooo happy to hear it shoots well for you Craig. When you have a 26/27 inch draw it's hard to tell what a bow will shoot like for a 29/30" draw shooter. I had to pull it to the back of my head to shoot it in!!!

Thank you for the kind words

Hey Kris I understand about the Classic.  I sure hope you get to make it though.  Sucks when life gets in the way of things.

Ralph I'm sure that you have nothing to worry about.  You do great work and ******* will be very pleased.

I look foward to seeing both of those twins take shape.
