Josh, all of the orange is padauk not phenolic. There is a little but of red and black fiberglass in there but for the most part just wood.

Dang Roy I guess I need to be more carefull where I leave my notepad, by the way this is what my son thinks of me making you a bow....

Ralph must have shown the new born a picture of Roy.  I can see the caption reading, "Please don't let me grow up and look that bad"
Genesis 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me [some] venison

I promise I've not been locked up.  I have everything finished on my recipient's bow and throwing in a couple of extras because I just haven't had the umph to get a few final things finished.  The challenge of life, pregnant wife, and losing a job put a damper on things for a bit.  I'm back with a better attitude and the bow and goodies should be heading out this week at some point.  Great looking bows being put together after catching up from the past few weeks.
He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow, and concealed me in his quiver. Isaiah 49:2
