That's a really nice bow Mike... I've had one ready to put some tip overlays on and a leather grip on for several weeks now but I've been super busy with turnarounds and shut downs at work for the last 2 weeks and have another one on the 29th for a week at our Gas Plant. Some really nice bows you guys are building... I hope to get mine done this next week, oh and and new grandson do in a week   :goldtooth:  her 3rd boy.

Finally got some dry enough weather (and time) to put the first couple coats of sanding sealer on my trade bow.  Should be able to sand her smooth and get some poly on it the next couple days.  I've got to go out of town for a funeral in a few, so hope to ship by the beginning part of next week on my days off.

btw, awesome bows guys!  Soy, Mike, LOVE the snakey bows!  great job!

Worked on my bow this afternoon.  I mentioned a few weeks back that my dry wood was not as dry as I thought.  When I got the bow down to the ring I wanted and shaped out some drying check lines showed up in a couple spots.  I sized the back with glue and let it set till now.

Tonight I put about 600 grains of deer sinew on it.  Gonna let it dry a couple weeks and start the tiller.  I had it at a low brace before I put the sinew on tonight.  Still looked really good.  Hope the sinew will help hold it together.

Mike your bow turned out really great.  Tiller looks very good.

Just a note to whoever gets this bow.  It shoots great too.  I shot it a few weeks ago it will thump.

The stone is polka dot agate, but in this chunk, all of the color was gone once the tip was finished..leaving an almost pure white stone tip..
