I think the leather looks good with it. I would slap it on there.

My wife says "Definitely without the wrap." She thinks it looks like marble cake.

As promised a shot of the brilliant 'snake' bow from Soy with its snowy headed ol' owner hoping to do it full justice.

Cabbage - I vote for with leather, although with a riser like that it's a close call.

Had over 10 pages of posts to catch up on.  Y'all have been busy.  Had to leave town for over a week for a loss in my wife's family.  It's been crazy since I got back.  I had to postpone my class with Dave Miller, so it looks like my recipient won't benefit from any knowledge he would have been able to pound into me.  I still plan to make my bow with wood I harvested myself locally, but I'm starting to contemplate sending it to Kenny to be made into lams for me as time slips away.  Wife has me working the garden currently and made me promise not to touch any bow projects until my daughter's dresser is done.

So whoever is working on my bow, take your time.  If my recipient has to wait until sometime in June, so should I....

I am a fan of just wood but the leather color looks to be a perfect match. So if ya want to send it my way I would have to say put the leather on!

Well, now I think there's just as many "yay"'s as there are "nay"'s.    :banghead:
I dunno. I'm gonna take it to a local bow shop tomorrow and chrono it, just for my own info, so maybe I'll decide after i shoot it a bit.    :dunno:
I made a string for it the other day and pre-stretched it for two days. Still need to serve it and maybe make a string keeper, since I can't think of anything else cool to go with it.

I like the leather. It goes well with that pretty riser.
