been out of it for a couple weeks due to the disc in my back and for the last week had a serious pain in my left elbow. doc says it may be arthritis. i say he is nuts. did a bit of work on the ash bow today, one handed. little tougher i must say. hope to get it done in the next couple weeks.

Well, I suppose you can mark me as shipped. I'm heading to the PO now. Should arrive somewhere around the end of the week!

hi guys,

due to though working time and high effort of inventing, i could not find a time to make my trade bow be take down.
it is ready to make it take down to ship it over the oceans. i hope i will find time soon then i will share some pics. i will make it as big jim's method and hope he will not charge me about using his idea  :)

by the way; i would like to share what i am inventing at them moment... well it is not related with bow... sorry...
as some may know, i have invented the fish counting machine for trout fish farms and machine needs to count the fishes while they are being graded. i need to make some final touches then will be ready to advertisements and sales. btw, why not sale to U.S.?

on the other hand, this should not stop you making for me a bow, since i am still waiting for my last and this year's trad bow  :)

best with my heart.
these are not the droids you are looking for.

Well it made it to the final destination before going out on the truck today at 0430 hours. Hopefully someone will be excited to get a long cardboard tube with duct tape on both ends. Hope the bow made it in one piece and the person getting it enjoys it. Can't wait to finally see what my victim looks like with the bow!

Man, I have been out of it with life stuff for a little while and had to spend my entire lunch break catching up. Great stuff going out guys. I have been working on a short hickory selfbow with mildly flipped tips. I may start a hickory stave and another hickory that will need some backing as there is a gouge in the back of it Ughh. i will post pics of both staves in another thread to ask for input on dealing with their issues . Until then I'll be looking for the postman.

My trade bow is finally done so I thought I'd post a few pictures before I get it ready for the mail. Hopefully, I'll have time to buy a tube and send it off on the weekend.

It's an all bamboo tri-lam with a jatoba power lam and walnut riser. The tips are walnut, maple and padauk. It's 66 1/2" ntn and draws 50 # @ 28".
I sure hope my victim likes it, it'll be hard to let go of this one. I took it with me to turkey camp. Two of my friends there are very knowledgeable and they both gave it a thumbs up after shooting it.

I got my bow stained and the first few coats of finished sprayed today.  It is coming along nicely now.  Just some final touches like the handle wrap, arrow pass, etc.  Can't wait to post some pictures and get it to its new owner.

Here is what I have done so far. 62" osage. I Will tiller it tonight.  Just have her where I can brace her.  The riser is bubinga and walnut. The tips have the same with an antler cap.
