Very nice, Andy! I love the contrasting colors.

I reduced the limb thickness almost to floor tiller stage before I had to go to work this morning.  If I don't have time to work on it this p.m. I'll get it floor tillered and bending tomorrow.

Andy that is going to be a beauty.

Red,  you got plenty of time.  Slow and steady wins the race.

I"ve been working on my tiller some this week.  Looking better.  Still heavy.

Don't ask me why but my employer scheduled everyone for inventory duty this entire weekend including Monday.  WOW!

That stinks, David!  School ended Friday, so I'll have plenty of time now... If my wife will stop finding things for me to do!

I've been off the grid over the past week enjoying a family vacation on the Outer Banks of NC.  I see there's been a lot of progress on bows lately and every one of them looks awesome.  Well done everyone!!

Joe,

If you take a deer with one, I would love a picture or two..maybe a chunk of sinew to wrap the next batch of arrowheads..

I should be done sometime this next week..

I got the bow and broadheads in the mail this morning.   I sure hope ********* likes em.

Those knapped heads are sweet.

I really like that osage in that riser.

Kevin, I'm planning on taking at least one rest with them, maybe more  :)
I've got a bunch of deer leg sinew I could send you. I was planning on using it to back a bow, but decided it was too much work and hung on to them. I think I've got a couple strips of back sinew too.
Thanks again. I'm super excited to get them mounted in some bamboo shafts.

Andy, that bow of yours is looking better every time I see it, wouldn't mind if it showed up on my front porch.

Kevin, love the knapped heads, wish we had flint or something similar in this area of PA, I'd like to give knapping my own a try sometime.

Very nice broadhead, Kevin!

Got my trade bow to floor tiller this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll get a long string on it and see how it looks on the tiller tree.

I like the maple backing. But I'm thinking of staining, or dying it to cut down on the pale shade for hunting purposes.

That flint is from Kentucky...I picked some up when I drove through that area in 88' on my way to Fort Mead...
I have been in Alaska 12 years, I have not found so much as a sliver of any rock that is knappable...supposed to be a obsidian quarry north of me, but all I get is blank stares when I ask the locals about it..

finally i have found a little time to work on my swap.

i cut the bow into half.   :D

(after shock passed)

to make it take down with big jim method. right now i made fiber glass + epoxy wrap. waiting for cure.

after that i will cover up the fiber glass with black leader then will be ready to move to next stop.

what about you who is going to ship things to Turkey?

best in advance...

keep on hunting.

Bet that was hard to do Ink.  Can't imagine cutting a perfectly good bow into two pieces.  I made a sleeved two piece before, but used billets for that.
