Great lookin' bows! Haven't checked in for a couple of days, ya'll have been busy!

I took my most recent attempt out of the clamps this a.m. It's hickory backed osage. I'll cut it to profile tomorrow and begin reducing the limbs. I may hafta beg for a little extention on the time, but hopefully not!

If my count is correct this'll be the third attempt at a trade bow. But like Larry says, "Get'er done!"... I hope!

Received my bow from WoodcarverII today.  If you can't wait for my pics tomorrow look at page 135. A really beautiful bow.  Thanks Dave.

Kelly, since we're on page 150, what are the completion stats?

Finally got started.  Below are 3 riser blocks.  I figure if I'm going to go through the process, it's almost as easy to bring all three at least through the glue-up stage together.  Kenny milled up my billets and has already mailed them back to me, so hopefully some glue-ups this weekend.

Been swamped with work and have family arriving from Australia this week. Got a couple of bows ready for hickory backing and should get them glued this week. Dad will keep me motivated to get finished. Owe my guy a real nice bow as I got a very sweet shooter this year. Don't want to have to pass it along cause I couldn't get it done. Have to get going faster next year.

I'm swamped as well but have a few bows laid out. Should make some major progress this week.

Worked on my latest trade bow this a.m. Should have the second limb reduced tomorrow and begin to floor tiller.  Hopefully it'll be on a long string soon.

There are five bows in the spray booth that are waiting for the final finish, but none are the trade bow.  St. Jude's is slowing down so I should get my trade bow glued up and shaped this weekend.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Walt seeing as how I was super lucky enough to get one of your bows last year (which is still shooting great by the way)  I'd be willing to bet that whatever you make will be a real gorgous piece of craftsmanship.

Well guys, count me as shipped. Just dropped it off to the postman today! I think it might be more stressful waiting for my bow to reach its recipient than it is to wait for a new bow to arrive here!

Stiks-n-Strings, I'll send you the tracking info tomorrow, left the paperwork in my office.
