Andy,

I got to shoot that bow of yours that Ben made.  Something about needing someone to draw it that last 8 inches....

It is a beautiful bow, and shoots very smooth.  Congrats, and well done Ben!

Haha Dave you crack me up, anyone who saw my "full" draw pics though understands what you mean.

Andy, I hope you enjoy the bow. It was an honor to make a bow for you. I've been looking up to your work for a long time, so it was really my pleasure.

And stunning work on those two bows also. Really stunning.

Here is the picture of the bow that Jeff (whossbows) got.  I seen more pics of it today on cellphone stuff and its a great looking bow.  Those skins look really sweet.

Jeff,
I'm glad you are happy with the bow.  It does have a lot of character and I see you can shoot it pretty well.  Good luck this hunting season!

I love this swap.  Even though it stresses me out sometime!

Beautiful bows, guys!

I got my latest attempt pulling to 20" on the tiller tree yesterday. Didn't get to work on it today but hopefully I'll make more progress tomorrow. Time...

David from what I've seen in the pictures of Jeffs bow you done a very fine job.  It looks great.  I should get to see in person in a few weeks and I'm pretty excited about it.

Got my trade bow tillered to 22" pulling 50 lbs and thought I'd give myself a rest. After unstringing the bow I was looking it over and noticed the fade on one limb had raised and wasn't feathered smoothly into the limb. I bent the bow backward gently and the handle raised from the fade area. Evidently I did a poor job of glueing the handle on in the beginning.

Any suggestions?

I've had one other handle pop off while shooting a bow. I simply sanded off the old glue and re-glued the handle back on. Kind of what I expect to do in this case as well. But I'm dumb founded...   :dunno:

Looking good all. I have been out of town for 2 weeks and the hotel I stayed charged for internet. I did hope on here a few times via my celphone. I have a lot of catching up to do. The good news is I have two more bows ready to tiller. My a and b bow did not work out. B is really light and A well I have some tooth pics. I have a hackberry roughed out and an hedge. Both are long bows. I hope to have them close to full draw by the end of this week end so I can finish and ship by the dead line.

I FINALLY got to spend a few hours yesterday. Never expected the last 2 months to be as hectic as they were. Lesson learned.    :smileystooges:
I was nervous about it coming out too heavy but all is well. A lot of sanding today and one coat of finish. Hope to shoot it some tomorrow at a local event.
Great job all !!      :clapper:

This morning I re-glued the handle back on my trade bow. I'll see if the glue is cured after work. Cross your fingers...
