My bow shows to be delivered. Someone should have a package on their door step when they get home.

My wife tells me I may have a bow at the post office for pickup! Only 200 miles away from home and I think I can get there before it closes ....

Ok, good day today.  I might just get used to this furlough thing if I don't go broke.  I thought that ******** would like to know their bow is in the oven and coming up to temperature:

I also got the dresser glued up today, which means all is well on the home front too.  It should be ready to spray on Sunday and at that point will just be waiting on the bow to be done so I can do both at once.

Josh Grube ( goobersan) you have officially made my month!

Today I received this beautiful bow , she shoots my 740 grain arrows like a dream and the wood choices and craftsmanship are second to none!

I got my trade bow yesterday from Philip Mazza, aka GentlemanArcher.  It's beautiful!  Both me and my wife said, "Oooh!" when I pulled it out of the bow sock (also VERY nice).  I haven't gotten to shoot it yet, but plan to tomorrow.  Had my brothers' wedding yesterday, played a concert today at the Promiseland Fest, and I'm beat!  Definitely gonna get some pictures and some shots tomorrow though.

Thanks so much for the awesome bow!  Made my week yesterday, and she'll make some meat this fall too.  Can't wait!

Great day today.  Dresser is fully assembled and ready for final sanding.  After dinner I started shaping the bow.  I've discovered a couple things about glass bows on this first one: you itch a lot; don't use a pencil on blue tape to layout your lines unless you want a headache; and once you've made your investment in tooling, making the bow is fairly quick.

The bow is bending nicely, some final tillering to do still, but not much.  Right now it is 8.5# into a 10# range my recipient requested.  Lucked out on that one!  Also need to shape the handle.  But I expect to spray both the bow and dresser before next weekend.  I might just make it before the end of the grace period after all.

Final teaser pic for *********** from when I opened the oven this morning.  After this I'll wait until it's done.

I am slowly getting the list of who has not received together. I am having to scrub the whole thread.

Thanks for all the hard work and great bows that have went out. I have gotten a few that need a bit more time.

Been away from a computer for several days. Tremendously beautiful bows being cranked out!

I'm still working-fighting with mine. Just ground off another handle and glued on another this afternoon. I'm also preparing another set of billets for glue up, just in case.

Sorry for taking so long **********.
