I came home tonight to a tube on the front porch.  I just want to say a huge thank you to Dave aka canopyboy.  I opened up the bow that he has shown pictures of and I can truly say that it looks much better in person.

Not only is it a beautiful bow it has some gorgeous cherry limbs which just happens to be one of my favorite woods.  I have a house full of furniture that I have made out of cherry.

We are dark with clouds as we await the predicted thunderstorms but I managed to get out and put a few arrows through it.  I didn't have a target set up so I just shot into a dirt bank from a short distance and almost wrecked the nock on the first arrow with the second shot.   And, they were even where I was looking. lol

Great job Dave and thanks again for a beautiful bow.

When the postman pulled into the driveway, I almost pulled a muscle jumping up from the porch...as I limped to the truck, only then did I realize the postman did not have the much anticipated package...
Oh...the agony of it all...

Congrats to Ranger44 on getting canopyboy's excellent Hill style bow.

You're welcome Scott.  I'm glad you like it.  I know you had thunderstorms, but don't forget the obligatory full draw pic....

Seriously, building the bow for someone and waiting for them to get it is by far my favorite part of this swap.  I'm excited to get mine, but that seems secondary at this point.

Josh -- I'm sure your's is on it's way.  It takes awhile for these bows to get from Europe ya know.  Or heck, if you'll be in AK, maybe you can sneak Kevin's tube off his front porch before he gets home.

I RECIEVED A BEUTIFUL SELFBOW FROM STEVE RUSSEL YESTERDAY. I WILL POST PICKS WHEN I GET A CHANCE. I JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE A COUPLE OF STONE POINTS THAT I AM GOING TO MOUNT ON SOME CEDAR SHAFTS AND TRY AND TAKE A WHITETAIL WITH IT. I AM AMAZED BY THOSE THAT TAKE THE SELFBOW ROUTE.

THANKS STEVEN

You're welcome Jim.  I'm glad to hear that the bow arrived safe and I hope it works well for you.  If you manage to connect while using her, I would love to get a trophy pic.

Kelly, I know you're busy, but with only one week to go in the grace period, can we get a count of where we stand on bows received?  Just curious.  Seems like a lot of 'em.

That is not a stellar percentage. Hopefully things turn around before long, one more week in the grace period so we'll see. I'd hate to see anyone not receive one.
