Sorry there's no pictures yet.  My 14 year old daughter took full draw pictures, and I used her phone with a decent camera to take the rest of the pictures.  But then she got into it with mom, and I'm not stepping into that mess just to get a few pictures downloaded....  Just have to wait until the coast is clear.

If you go back a few pages, you can see the bocote beauty that David (dlnwohio) was getting ready to send.  Need to tune arrows to it slightly, but was making tight group after tight group last night.  At one point I had 5 arrows all touching in the target, feeling lucky I didn't have to replace nocks.

Thanks David!

Put a couple hours in the BBI trade bow today, got both limbs bending pretty well. Will be tillering it this week and shooting to have it delivered by 8/30 or sooner if all goes well.

Tie got caught in the bowstring and ripped off early in the round.

Kelly, if you find you end up short a bow to send out I'm sure I would be honored to donate Knotmare, my cable-backed bow for someone.  I'll try and get a finish on her in the next few days and put her up on standby.  I have a bow being made by a member here, and plenty of PVC to play with in the meantime.  It would be my honor to step in and make sure someone gets a bow.  Don't need one in return, just can't stand to see someone left out.

The long white tube was waiting for me today. A nice BBO with antler tips inside. Sweet. I will get a chance to shoot it this weekend.
Rainman did a nice job, and both of these materials , Bamboo and Osage are a treat up here. Thanks rain. It is nice. I can't wait to shoot it.

It will have a 10 strand DF97 with 16 in the loops pronto. I will let you know the difference in the 2 strings, for feel , noise and performance. I put 97 on all my bows. Your tips certainly will handle it.   :)   I don't have any problems with this on plain Osage, Hickory, Hop Hornbeam or maple, so I know those antler tips will be just fine. I realy like bamboo Backed Osage.  ;)  It is a treat for me.

I think you will see a noticeable difference in how it feels after the shot.  I just didn't have any High performance strands to make one up.  I put hp strings on all of my bows also.

Thanks halfseminole

I hope it does not come down to that just yet. Heck I was just PMed about one I missed or did not save.
So we moved up to just under 80% complete.

Well the best laid plans... My trade bow has developed a terrible hinge in the lower limb, so I glued up my fourth bow for thi trade. I now have this bow on the tiller tree and should make good progress tomorrow.

Kelly, I'm tryin' ,bro!  If I don't get it right in the next couple of days I'll throw in the towel...

Truly sorry this has taken so long.

Oh! This bow is a boo backed Osage. It's looking good so far. But don't they all at first?   :dunno:
