Hooray for another received!

Regarding Dave's proposal I would tend to agree. I think the only reason I got done early is because a very large alligator was approaching my boat ... that is the virginia summer heat ... since I do my bow work outside ... it was time as soon as it started warming up.

I keep saying I'm going to get my swap bow as close to completion as possible before the swap even starts ... grind lams, shape riser, test fit on form ... heck complete the form ... but not much has happened yet ... we'll see ......

Oh and there should be one more out there somewhere. It my take a bit for it has to cross over a few boarders. And we are at 95% complete.

Wow, it took quite a man to pass the bow that Troy made along (if I understand what happened correctly.)  I probably would have paid a person to make a bow for me that I could send....  Sorry that it didn't work out, but way to keep the spirit of the swap healthy!

Yup, passing along a bow that Troy made would be tough.

Well my bow arrived, again. Super cool! Here are the money shots. Stan did an awesome job. this is exactly the bow I was hoping to get when I signed up for the swap. I couldn't be happier and I hope everyone received a bow as nice as this one. Just can't say enough about this bow. Super quiet, no hand shock, a perfect reminder of the direction I wish to go in my bow building career.   :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:  Many thanks again to Stan , Kelly, Sticks, and the rest of the folks here at Tradgang !!

That is most definitely a beauty, MJ! I showed your pics to my wife and she informed that those are the kinds of bows that I need to make...   :clapper:

I found a big piece of PVC waiting for me today after work.
A big thank you to Timbermoose for a beauty of a bow! As well as some great hand made arrows to go with it.
And another big thank you goes to Kelly and Stiks for the work they did to make the swap go.

Here are some pics of the bow and arrows I got from timbermoose.

This bow is a real shooter. It's fast and it puts them right where I'm looking.
Thanks again Craig!
