Wow! I step away for just a day or so to start a new job and now I cant start to list all the great bows and ideas. I have not seen a bad looking bow yet! I put the bow swap bow on hold till my next shipment of wood comes in to see if any of it beats my personal stash... we will see.

Got my limb choices made veneers, Lams, and wedges ground.  I'm thinking walnut wedges would look better to give it some contrast with the amber a-boo and myrtle veneers.  I will let the myrtle sit in the Florida sun a little to see if they darken up a little.

All those veneers have me oogling at y'all glass bow guys.  Great looking stuff there Shawn!

What wood are you working with Duck?   Have an american elm roughed out that looks almost identical to yours.  Don't plan to use it for my trade bow though, unless necessary.

It's Hickory.
Here are the stats -
68" TtT
4" handle
1 1/2" fades from handle
1 1/2" fades to levers
2" wide working limbs
levers taper from 3/4" to 1/2" ( I will thin them later)
The working limbs are 16" and the levers are 13"

Shawn, that is a lot of wood to dry out in FL , if ya send me some I can dry it out quicker here in the desert and send most of it back to ya...

Duck, that is a cool looking bow, feel free to also send it my way...

wow coaster. looking good. makes me want to try making a TD, but i'm just afraid to cut a good bow in half.....on purpose. soon as my back is feeling better(slipped disc) i'll be working up some hickory or locust, maybe an ash or maybe even a dogwood bow. have a chance to get some lower elev. yew and some vine maple and a couple cascara staves. so now i may have too many to choose from.
