I'm along with kenny I'm still thinking too..Although I'm pretty sure the riser is gonna be bacote with some kind of osage shape in it.  I know its boo backed ipe with osage power lam and deer antler tips.  Maybe bacote tip underlays (depends on how much I have left from the riser) and just hope all of that is ok with ******** ** **** ******* ******* *'s taste

Having a real hard time deciding on a trade bow 1 piece forward handle design or 3 piece with rear mount limbs. But this is where I'm at.

Either would be great but if were voting  :)  "3 piece with rear mount limbs" never shot one like that but always looked like they would point real well....  Lookin good

Well if you can't decide which one for your swap bow, just send me both    ;)

Looks like a real speedy design you got there.

Got her shaped out, gotta go to a darn work party or I,d be shooting her tonight. Guess it'll have to wait till tomorrow. I think the walnut/purple heart is looking ok.

Yeah, heartland!  That's looking slick as deer snot!  The profile on that bow is perfect.  I particularly like the riser profile.  Nice to see another Nebraskan in the trade this year.  :)

Looking good! I do like purple and brown together but hate working with Purple Heart.

Been shooting my plan"A" bow, osage self bow with a knot and a few wiggles in it.  Put about 100 arrows through it so far and I like how it shoots.  Need to get weight down a few pounds yet and tweak the tiller a little more.  Ill try to get a few pics up soon.

Weather is supposed to warm first of the week for afew days. Hopefully I will be able to get my finishing touches on my new shop. All I need to do prime and paint.

Afterwards, it's on to bow building.

I finally got rolling on my trade bow for ?????????  I have always made my risers with a wooden I-beam but this time i am going with green g-10.  I think it will look good if I can keep the curls in line from the maple and only expose the g-10 in the shelf area! I hope it works?
