Beachbowhunter: I did use the bandsaw with a metal cutting blade to cut the g10 material.
Right now it looks like when I install the inserts, they will be into the g10 about 3/8".  That is about what I was looking for just to give it some more strength!

Guys,
I'm torn on what to do. The bar is set so high here that I'm questioning my ability to build a great bow, about all I have left to do on my trade bow (maybe) is put specs on it. The bow is smooth drawing, pointable and shoots a 10gpp arrow in the mid 170s at 28".

The bow has an purpleheart/walnut i-beam riser w/ purpleheart belly lams; maple, glass, and walnut core; and a black glass back.

Shall I ship it or not, what ya guys think?

Ship it...there's nothing wrong with that bow.

Dang Cory!!! That's all I got to say...

Worked on one of two possibilities today. Got the other limb thinned down some on the snakey elm stave. Also shaped the handle some...If I pull this off this is gonna need skins and gonna look awesome. Best maybe I have turned out but there is a long ways to go.

Holy cow ! There are some very nice bows coming along. I haven't started yet and don't even know what I'm going to do. But there's a lot of good inspiration here.
