Urac hardner.

Just a heads up to anyone who still has urac resin, but may be out of the powder. Nelson paint has a bunch of the hardner. I've been having an email conversation with Laurie lee who works for them, and her exact words were "if you know someone who needs the powder, we would sell it to them CHEAP just to get rid of it."

Every time I ordered Urac in the past they sent me enough hardener to mix about 5 times the amount of resin I bought.

Right on Eric, I always thought maybe I'm not mixing it right cause I always had hardener left over. Right VB, their shipping is crazy high..

That was what our email conversation was originally about. There is a disclaimer on their site that says the shipping cost at checkout is just a high estimate and that actual shipping cost will probably be lower. The program they use for their storefront apparently doesn't allow them to calculate actual shipping. Besides that, I went to a couple of other sites and went through the checkout process with the same unibond and while their shipping was way cheaper, the actual product was more than twice as much so it became a wash.

I'm not trying to talk up their company or anything. I was just extremely impressed with the customer service and their willingness to explain their methods and wanted to let people know about the hardener in case they accidentally spilled some or something.

It's great to live just 30 minutes away from Nelsons.  :biglaugh:
