Ya should have had them all lined up in the dry run and marked, and then wrapped with tape after applying glue and then wrapped in plastic, but ya did ok I guess:)

Not listen up smart A$$. I have 3 black belts and have no problem whoopen up on some cop:) And I pulled the 55 pounds. Now don't make me make a road trip up there tonight and lay a thumpin on ya, son:)

Now that what I am talking about ROY... BRING IT OL MAN!!!!

So out of the clamps and the sides all cleaned up for the most part. Need to make some minor adjustments on them to even the taper but all and all not to shabby. Definately a lot thicker so I am starting back to square one with tillering. Hoping thats not a huge problem.

My only hick up was for some reason one side of the glue up held the reflex nicely but the other flattened out. I hope this isn't going to ruin this bow but we shall see by what you guys say.

Just a few pictures

Glue lines came out Purdy!

Is the lost of the reflex in one limb a huge problem or during tillering I will just have to adjust the stronger limb???

Ouch, that must have come from the tillering you did before. I would make the limb with the more reflex the bottom limb. It's going to receive more stress when shooting the bow. I'd tiller the bow for 1/8th pos tiller. You prolly will be taking wood off the bottom limb as you tiller. String her up and see what it looks like with a 3 inch brace.

Justin is it just the picture, or is one limb a bit shorter than the other? The limb with more reflex looks a lot shorter. Could be my old eyes too.

Well I finally finished her up last night. I had her tillered to 50# but then developed splinters along one edge from grain run out. I retillered her to 46# @28 inch draw, 60 inches ttt and have had no issue yet. Here are some pictures for ya.... Have to wait on full draw until I have someone home to help me with the picture. Will be chasing turkeys around this spring with this one! Comments are welcomed... thanks guys for all your help... Specially our Ol' Grumpy Thumpin Fart we loved named Roy... Couldn't want any other master to learn from!! Kenny for the great supply of osage needed to fix her!

Thanks!!

2013 Turkey Season openned up in New Hampshire today. Thought I would just post a quick pic of the bow in the thread and how I hit the mark this morning... Find the story in the highlight thread later on...

There's a story with a happy ending.  Nice!
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

A turkey with a bow you made - not many can say they've done that.
