How long of a pivot did you go out to... meaning how many holes did you drill and what is the spacing?

Oh ok... I can handle making one of these jigs tomorrow! My first bow is going to have an 18 inch riser following Kenny's form. I hope to be in business by next week with ordering all my wood from the master. You guys are all the best an as our spokesman "Ol Fart Roy" says... there is not better community or group of guys as there are here on TG! Truly a blessing to be cyber friends with all of ya...

I have about 20 of those clamps from H.Freight..they work well and seem to be tough.

So I attempted really hard to make my own version of a swing jig. Hopefully it will work... I am done READ IT... DONE with jig, form, oven, anything of the sort kinda building now!!!

IT IS TIME TO START MY FIRST BOW!!!!

Pictures of my jig

I made the arm of the jig so that I can line the holes up an inch from the blade and also against the blade depending on what the cut will need or where in the blank I want it...

Comments are welcomed... Thanks guys for all the pictures and help to get this thing done! You all are great friends and couldn't even imagine trying to start this craft without you all and without this community on TG/PA!
