Let's Talk about Footed Shafts

I'm in the market for some footed shafts. Over the years I have used shafts from "the Footed Shaft" and "Whispering Wind". Both of which were great shafts along with customer service. Is the another maker out there that you would recommend? I'm looking Quality not price. Any input on your personal prefrence or type of footing and shaft material. I don't see them around as much any more, I sure do like them and think it will add to the FOC.

I get mine from Rod Leary at Custom Footedshafts, great quality and service. The ones I'm hunting with now are Cedar with Wenge feet, They are tough and pretty too. They are 70-75 and with 160 grains on the business end they come out to 610 grains. Get ahold of Rod at

. Good luck

I've been thinking for some time now about footed shafts.Like the heads I use and don't really want to switch from them to get more weight, and footed shafts would solve that issue...............plus they just look SO COOL!
