if you have the left handed bow to shoot,it doesn't hurt to learn both ways. I shot lefty for a couple years then switched back to right hand. I am left eyed also, but don't have any problems shooting either way, just have nicer RH bows. chickenman

I've shot cross dominate for over 40 years and I have never felt it was a problem. I honestly think it depends on your shooting style. If you use sights, gap shoot or aim using the arrow as a reference; it will likely make a difference. However, if you shoot instinctive, just concentrate on the spot, I can't see how it would hurt your accuracy.
How do you throw a baseball or basketball? I was very good in both sports and never knew I was left eye dominate.

You're a man...
But you can change...
If you have to...
... I guess!

If you are doing OK, I'd leave it alone.  The "muscle memory" learning curve can take a long time to retrain, but it can but it can be done...  Daryl

I shot right handed for 20 years or so and am left eye dominant. I switched about 9 years ago, At first shooting lefty just felt wrong, but after time my body adjusted and I begin shooting better than I had ever before. I can relate to the initial awkwardness very well but beleave in the long run you will shoot better going lefty.

If you have access to a lefty and can shoot it awhile, I'd try it. Give it a fair try to see if you can get used to it, and then you will know.

If you don't mind being frustrated by lack of available product, can afford a premium on everything you need that is not ambidextrous, enjoy having to make unrealistic shots at 3D courses set up by righties, relish in the idea of NOT being able to test drive certain bows (well anyways), and are big enough to be told "sorry, there just aren't enough of you to warrant a left handed (insert product here)", than sure, come on over with us other redheaded stepchildren of traditional archery.    ;)

I shoot my father-in-law's lefty bows once in a while.  I am right handed and right eye dominant.  My right arm is much stronger than my left yet I draw better using back tension with my left side.  Doing this lefty, I am much more consistent in grouping but need a few shots to "dial in" the accuracy.  Maybe some day I will slide on over into the dark side...

If ya settled in right handed and your eye's are close with in reason I say stay right handed. If big difference with eyes that's causing an issue where you don't feel like your performing as you should then I say mke the change.

I am right handed and left eye dominant. Did everything right handed my entire life.
An injury caused me to shoot left handed and I never regretted it.
After getting into to archery, I think it's a gift to be handed on one side and eye dominant with the other.
I am of the belief that what ever hand you are you should shoot with the opposite hand. Hence a right hand person shooting a left hand bow.
My reasoning is very simple. Right handed person throws with the right hand because he's trained that side to instinctively aim and become their stronger arm.
What is the most important thing in archery? Though equally important, IHO the aiming not the drawing. You can learn to come to proper draw. Time and practice builds enough strength.
Why not aim with the strongest arm abling you to put the arrow on target faster and if need be longer, the hand with the most instinctive actions as with throwing?
Again I was forced to do it.
I am also in the beleif that everyone who shooting instinctvely should have a bow atleast 5# perferably 10#'s heavier to practice with and build and maintain strenght allowing you to shoot ya everyday bows easier and smoother. And most impotatntly abling those who constantly short draw (which is a large prcentage) to come to full draw.

ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD , you see the target animal killzone better...period...it will take a little effort...I think some people just dont and wont put the time in, and thats ok...thats why baskin robbins has 31 flavors...LIVE...shoot ur dominate side...I might make me a Tshirt with that...what ya think guys... :)ps you will need about 35# bow something light to start...but over time strength will increase...  :goldtooth:
