Finishing Limbs?
« on: March 21, 2013, 02:04:00 PM »
Hey Guys,

I have a quick question I hope you can help with with. I have two sets of limbs for my takedown recurve, one set is very nice, the other is the set Im hoping to repaint and finish.

Im big into designing my own look with my equipment, How would you recommend sanding off the current coat of paint and repainting them? they came with a spray painted camo pattern  on them. Im hoping to paint my own design on them new color, etc.

Paint over the current coat? sand it off first? and what clear finish should I use to preserve the paint and protect them from the elements?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
