Hey OBX,
Not sure. Last year they didnt seem to have any trad stuff. I was pretty disapointed. I will be swinging over there on Friday so I can come back here and let ya know.

Not really unless you count a few aluminum and carbon arrow trad. Last year was very dissapointing since a bunch of the booths were hunting outfits and guide there trying to sell you a hunt. I'm going to pass on it this year.
But don't forget about the NCBA show at the end of march. It was worth the trip last year.

Where and when is this NCBA show going to be held? I am not familar with it. I am up here just accross the border in central Virgina.
I feel like you guys about the Dixie Deer Classic. The last time I went I didn't see any trad stuff except what some of the guys were shooting at the 3D shoot. My son wants to go to it this year so I'll probably make the trip anyway.

That stinks on both accounts.
That weekend is the NC Hunter Education Shooting tournament (district). I coach the team here on the outerbanks. Hate to missthe banquet but the kids are worth it.
Thanks on the deer classic, that saves me 500 mile round trip

I had the same experience as Madness. John Maus of Lonewolf longbows used to come. I have not seen him there in a few years. I bet as popular as traditional hunting is becoming in the South that someone will notice and start to come. The last few years I have noticed more and more guys shooting traditional at the 3-D shoots.

I dont know if they would or not as it seems most boyers are so loaded down with orders I dont see how they can even get bows made up for a show . The last bowyer I spoke to on the phone to ask a few questions about his bows seem to act as if I was bothering him and he was not the only one Ive felt like that with . Alot of them work full time jobs and do bow making on the side and I think they are just stressed out . As soon as old Madness522 starts making a bow Im going to agrivate him too because I know it will be a good one (lol) !
