HH style, how do you do it?

When making the H Hill style longbows I have used a bowform with a center section flat as far as the end of the fadeouts. Then gradually started a true circle curve that ended with one inch backset at nocks. I had a steel template cut out with a Computer guided laser cutter. How do you do it? Is the real HH bows made with a curve in the handle section also, bending away from the shooter or is it flat like I do? I have never held an original HH in my hand. Bue--.

I'm not a bowyer but all my Hill style bows (12 in all) appear to be straight on the back side of the riser section.  The backset (deflex) starts in the limbs past the riser section.

Good question Bue- I did my Hills straight so far but I`ve been planing on a 1" for usual and a 3" reflexed for reverserisers for a long time...

I keep my form straight through the fades as well then try to get a nice consistent curve to the tips.
