Thanks Eric!  Having your BBI build along to follow was a huge help. Good luck on working down your osage stave.  Wish I had the patience to tackle one.  I just bought an elm stave, but I'll probably just rip a couple of boards out of it.
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Absolutely gorgeous. Gotta love osage. Coming from south Ms, it's a lot of pine,pine,pine. Our hardwoods are dissapearing at an alarming rate. I haven't even found a mill that would allow me to check out some hickory boards. Oh well, if the pines put food on the table, pine it will be. Great bow take5.
