First successful board bow

i've been on this site for a while now but this is my first post. This is my first board bow that is tillered well and that hasn't broken yet. I took a little bit of time but i'm proud of the outcome. Any tips or advice are welcome. I call it the Red Wolf

Your top limb is hinged about 10" above your hand, the rest of the limb isn't bending much.

Have you seen a tillering gizmo?

Eric I saw the tillering gizmo before just haven't made one yet but i will soon. I noticed the hinge and I"ll try to work it out when i get a chance. Thanks for the advice

Great looking bow. I hope no one minds if I jump in here with a question of my own. I've been working on my second board bow and have run in to the same problem as the fist. A hinge killed my unbacked board bow. This one looks like it's destined for the same fate.
So, since Eric mentioned the hinge, I want to ask; how do you fix a hinge?

make a new bow and be more careful. Or add a wood backing and retiller.

mark the area that is bending too much...I write the word "NO" where the hinge is located...then just remove wood from both sides of it...

Hey AstateRedWolf, what type of wood is that red wolf bow of yours? and what's the draw weight and height? great looking bow none the less.
