linen backed red oak board tiller advice wanted

Thanks t5. After pondering on it a while I am thinking that I should probably shave a bit on the left a little past fade and on towards mid limb. I think I'll leave the tips alone until the arc looks more symmetrical on both sides. Everyone says "use the gizmo". I know. We newbies just never learn! Bare with me though. My ignorance is not y'alls fault! Krewson is the man for creating that. I gotta make one soon.

Well. She's pulling 50# @28". So probably 52@29". I know her tiller looks a bit odd. But could I leave it like this? She has 1/4 positive tiller on the right limb measured at the fades with 6" brace. If the right limb stays the top limb shooting split fingers...is this setup OK? The right pulls 2" further than the left at the tips. Did I really mess up? The picture in the above URL shows. All opinions and criticism welcomed! After all..I'll just make another one after this.

The one in photo bucket that says"possibly final tiller" for the total is the picture. Sorry I can't put images on direct yet. I haven't figured out how to copy and paste IMG using phone. I can only paste URL. Hopefully I can find a way. It would be much easier on a computer.

1/4" positive is alot. It might get worse from taking more set as you shoot it in. I'd weaken the bottom limb a bit more. Maybe get to 1/8" positive. You'll probably only lose a couple pounds. You can still hit 45# @28" I think. Better to have a well tillered bow at 45# than one at 50# that may not last as long. Thats just my take. Others may have differing opinions.

LittleBen. I think you made a good call..once again. I took your advice and put it to work. Pic posted in above link. What do you think now? She still has 1/4 pos tiller(right limb). What's odd is...if I leave the bow braced and sitting on its back I can measure from the counter top to the tips...vertically...and the top limb is 2" higher. Is that bad? The good news is...the overall arc in the tiller looks much better than my first bow did. So I guess I am getting better. In addition.. while tillering and exercising it I never heard one smidgen of a splinter pop. I'm thinking the linen may be far superior to the drywall tape. Although I'm sure mostly that is from better tillering. The board I used on this one had much thicker growth layers too. I sure do appreciate all the advice I've received on here from so many folks. Gonna do some handle shaping soon. I've got a little limb twist I'm gonna post a link to a picture. I'd like to learn how to fix it if y'all can spare some knowledge.
