Wife is off this weekend so we are putting vinyl siding on our 12 x 16 shed today, then do the other 10 x 12 shed tomorrow. Tired of painting them every few years.. Won't be back on the bow till Monday, I'm letting the Osage season some more:)

Roy I had very good luck spraying Bullseye shellac over oily woods before Tru-oil.
Drys fast and anything will stick to shellac.

I have a few scrap pieces of the bocote from cutting out the riser, I'll play around with that and see what happens with tung oil. Might just order some TB. I have a good spray gun and used to paint cars. The heck with Bow junkie
Anyone ever use conversion varnish? I seen a bow done with it a while back, it was an awesome satin finish.

Bow work has been put on hold for a few days as I have outside work that needs completed. Thought I was supposed to be retired.

You ride him cowboy:) LOL
Had the bow to 18 inches last night, looking sweet, forgot to take pictures. Looking like about 50+ pounds will be the final weight.

Money shot comes later, who's gonna snap a picture of the money shot at midnight? Momma would kill me if I woke her up for that.. There would be a new meaning to the word suppository:) LMAO
