Roy I know you like those big ol long bows but I usually like to keep mine around 62 to 64 or so, 55 to 60#@28.  What woods are you thinking about??

Art we have been over this I like the d-10.  I had to move my nocking point way up with the 8190, but the absolutely no hand shock from it was freaking awesome.  Hell if Roy keeps on with those "Pleases you may have to ask him what kind of string he would want..lolol

I really do appreciate all of the compliments everybody.  Thanks you.

Oh its got to have osage and boo.  That is a must for sure.  Don't know about red elm.  I don't know if I've ever seen it before.

Elm is light, but strong. Makes for a snappy shooten bow.

We got a trade or not, Boy? :)  If ya don't want one, I'll just make Ole Artty Boy one so he has a bow to hunt with this fall. I can have him a bow made and shipped in about 5 days.

5 DAYS!!! Damn the retirement is tough stuff...lolol  What the heck Ol Man your awfully quick to throw me under the bus and just start offering the bow to Art. He wouldn't appreciate it as much as I would...lolol   I thought this trade was already a done deal but not if your so quick to just offer "MY" bow to Art..lolol.  Elm sounds great. What are we talking for a riser??

Not a done deal till you say ok. You send me that bow and I will build you whatever you want. But I would put Bacote on for the riser and flip the tips, and add special horn tip over lay. And I can make better strings than ole Artty.

I'm thinking that the new wife has Artty strapped down under her thumb. Ya notice he hain't been online much since he said, I do.. LMAO

You big SOB. David tricked all of us here. He made the bow with the intention of making it for me. He use photo buckets to switch it from righty to lefty. When I lucked in winning Kenny's give away. My intention was to send these lams to David to make a bow for himself because of all the kind things he helped me out with.  Dude you got me and he was in cahoots with Roy and Kenny.  Man you guys stink big time   I can't ever begin to repay him but trust me I will and to top it off. He sent the bow but no string now I have to twist one up before I can shoot it. You big chump LOL. Seriously dude a big thank you goes to you and your little elves
I can't over the willingness on this site that guys who never met before will go and help guys they never met. But by doing that makes life long friends in my book.  Thank you again and pics to follow when I get everything situated

lolololololol  GOT THAT FULL DRAW PIC WITH THAT NEW STRING YET.  Its funny crap Art.  Surely you didn't think Ol Roy actually wanted one of them fancy smancy glass bows.  I'm serious this is the most excited I have been about building a bow.  The joking side if it made it a real blast.  Art I mean it there is nothing to pay back.  The only thing I ask is I want to see the pic of you getting an animal with it, or at least trying..lol  And Kenny knew it all..lolol  ya got to watch me and Roy we are quick to rat you all out..lolol  Art your very welcome it was my extremely my pleasure.

Man Im sitting here admiring her and she is a beauty..I would have twisted a string had her strung and shooting but this afternoon I either sprain or cracked a bone in my wrist so I can do nothing yet until I find out what I did...Kenny you Roy are all guilty by association  :)   D Im afraid if I get her to full draw she gonna snap..that aint gonna happen is it..LOL  man to send a bow without a string..man that's harsh..LOL
Guys from the bottom of my heart Im honored and hope to take a nice deer with her this year..got to get my wrist checked out then I can go from there
