metal strip
« on: August 26, 2013, 04:55:00 PM »
I been getting stuff together for building a longbow. I have built several but gave another fellow all my forms and stuff years ago so I`m starting from scratch. I just realized I do not have a metal "pressure" strip. any of you fellas know where you can get one or do you use something else. I ordered the one I had years ago from bingham.RC

I use a 1/4 inch thick 1 1/2 wide piece of aluminum for the bottom of the form (back of the bow)) and a 1/16 thick piece for the top (belly).  I got mine at Lowes.

Know any ductwork makers that could shear you a pc, Robert?
Stay sharp, Kenny.
