When flipping tips what do you guys use? Steam or heat gun? Also how do you know how far down the limbs to go and how much "flip" to use? Want to try this on my next bow which i will start this weekend. Hopefully...........

Sorry Roy. Dug a little deeper and found your post on exactly how you do yours. Once again, question answered.
You ever thought of doing a build-a-long video? I would buy that.

All depends on what I want the bow to look like... sometimes I just bend the last few inches, other times I bend 1/3 - 1/2 of the limb. Dry heat for dry wood. (Heat gun). Wet heat for wet wood.(steam or boil).

Dang it Roy. Every time I think I might actually have some advice for you, you've already done it! Slow down some man, I am only 43 and I still cannot keep up with you! I just finished watching your YTube videos. I like the kids fishing the best

Well here's to steriods. 1:52 a.m. and I just left the shop. I will be a grizzly bear in the morning or today seeing as how it is morning. At least til my next dose of cortizone! weeeeeee..not even tired nor sleepy, yet. I will probably freak smooth out when I go back and see what all I did tonight. Kinda like pipe dreams?
