project x....
« on: September 19, 2013, 04:16:00 AM »
Hi.. been a long time since my last building ( in the meantime I got married ) ...  so my new bow in my new life...   :)

I'm making recurve with alternate riser ( my own design )...  It juse came out of the mold..  yesterday cleaned epoxy and roughly shaped limbs...  one limb moved from position (    :deadhorse:  )  on riser and got to straight it up... I use 2xparalell lams - 0,040" , 1 tapered 0,110/0,002" and powerlam... carbon is 0.040" ( homemade )...  all lams are maple..

Thanks KennyM for epoxy, and lams ....
..yet still learning and here are some pictures :

all wood is maple... this is my second one.. so I didn't wont too use ash, cherry,...  'cause I want to see how it will work with only one wood...  And I dont have any egzotic woods, dymondwood,...  is to expensive for me and hard to get one... how is it in Sweden?
