A bow for my bro-in-law...
« on: September 21, 2013, 02:26:00 PM »
Finished this one up for my bro-in-law just in time for the season.  Hopefully he will put it to some good use.  It's 60" and 44@28.  First 60 incher off this form.  Bocote and Pau Ferro riser with white and black accent, bocote veneers and overlays and a-boo core.  Hope he likes it  :D

Looks awesome.  Very nice.  I bet your bro in law will be very proud of it and rightfully should be

Beautiful bow! I would love to get my hands on that.....great wood choices. What was the stack you used?

Thanks y'all!  He loves it!  NYArrow, I used a .320 stack w/ a .003 taper and a p-lam [email protected] taper for it.

Very nice! I've always admired your bows but this is definately my favorite. Love the braced profile and I think you got the taper just right for a nice even tiller.

Nice job there Chris!! I wondered how the bocote would come out, I kinda like it. How did Bro in law like it?
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Thanks Kenny. He loved it!  That bocote did turn out pretty sharp, I especially like it in the overlays.
