Hill style for local auction
« on: September 26, 2013, 12:56:00 PM »
Our community has a gentleman that is in a fight for his life against brain cancer.  He is undergoing treatment in Chicago.  In order to help with expenses we are having an auction fundraiser.  I was asked if I would be willing and able to donate a bow to the cause.  Here is my effort.  I know it's name, "Hope", has been done around here but I couldn't come up with a more fitting name.  I just hope it raises a lot of money and the winner likes it as much as I do.

And the weight and length is almost a "one size fits all" type bow. Great veneers.

That's awesome.  I hope it fetches the $$ that the bow and the gentleman in need deserves.

Great gesture indeed and very nice work! Just saw the pics on the HH thread and had to come see about this one.

It's a local auction with auctioneer that talks 10 times faster than I think and is the funniest guy I know.  Really entertaining night for all that attend.  No way for people to bid...unless you make the trip to Tustin, Michigan next Saturday.  ;)
