One for me
« on: September 27, 2013, 09:58:00 AM »
This is the bow I did the antler overlay video of, haven't shot it yet, I'm still finishing. The riser is Cocobola and Bastogue Walnut with Purple Heart and Osage accents. Limbs are Mango veneers from IdahoCurt and Red Elm core from KennyM. 64" AMO, high 40's I hope!! Tony

What is really amazing to me is that you have not shot it yet! I can't wait that long to take the first shot with one of my new bows. As soon as the shelf is cut I am shooting and testing the draw weight. You have great patience...I lack great patience.

Bow looks amazing! Great job.

Terrific work!  Love that wood combination.

Your quiver is a beauty as well.  So distracted by your bow that I didn't notice it right away    :)

Beautiful bow. Did you make the antler limb bolts also?

Still haven't shot it, I sprayed another coat of poly on  this evening. I will shoot it tomorrow. I did make the limb bolt burrs from an elk antler.

Shot it today, this was the 5th and 6th shot from about 25 yds. Seemed to be flat shooting and fast. Didn't get a full draw pic today, getting ready to get in a tree stand. Tony
