Horizontal cracks
« on: October 13, 2013, 10:51:00 AM »
I have a 21st century Venus hunter that has at the end of the riser fades on the back side of the bow small horizontal cracks in the glass. The cracks do not appear to be getting larger however I am concerned. Time to retire the bow or is there a repair? Is it possible to sand the existing glass down and then laminate a thin new layer of glass over the back of the bow. This bow has done a lot of hunting with me and I would really like to try and save it.
