limb and one piece recurve form ?
« on: October 21, 2013, 05:59:00 PM »
I got my plans for my 58" recurve and it calls for a reverse taper. I have looked at a lot of build alongs and maybe I just haven't seen the right ones and I haven't seen a many people talk about them. Is it possible to do it without or do I really need them

and also I have 2 pieces of carbon fiber that's only  .016 thick and some .030 glass but that plus my wood comes to about .250 which is what im shooting for so I was wondering if anyone had any idea what kind of results I might get

One reverse or two. Two makes a parallel limb. not a bad way to go on a curve. Hard to say about stack without seeing your form Keep the carbon for later. Keep it simple at first.
