Hey Gang,
Thinking of making another backed osage r/d bow.
Last one was a BBO.
Boo splintered even though I didn't scrape the rind off...just lightly sanded.
So it has me a little apprehensive to use it again.
Been thinking of using a hickory backing this time.
Just got to wondering though, if boo might be a big help in keeping the limbs from twisting/curving do to its linear nature.
You think it makes a bit of difference when compared to hickory in that aspect?
