Snow day project?

It is killing me have time off and nothing to work on so I started digging around in the garage looking for something to do. I found these to relics of my bowyering past that have been laying around for atleast 7 or so years. Keep in mind I had no idea what I was doing(I still don't).

It appears I was trying to build some sort of board bows and wanted a reverse handle. One is hickory and the other osage. The string grooves aren't very deep so I could go the other way and both are plenty stiff. The hickory is 68" and osage 64" I think.

My questions are which one should I work on if either and how would you go about it. I was thinking that the hickory might be a better candidate. It looks like I was trying some sort of snakey mess with the osage. Maybe a linen back for the hickory?

Cut the handle  off the hickory, and make a bend thru the handle bow.
Flip the Osage over, so the handle is on the belly, and back it with rawhide. I like the "snakey " board, heat a little reflex into it and/or flip the tips.
