Thanks guys, wanted to finish her this weekend, but not gonna make it.

A note- the tips don't seem to hold as much reflex with the tapered glass. I shot it a few times , seemed fast enuff , and quiet. We will see when we get done and fire a few thru the chrony.

Glad I stuck with the .003 total taper.

It will pass the quiet test I think and that is waaay more valuable to me than fast...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

On these, it comes out to a 3" shorter string makes about the right brace. So that's what I do with it...

Great build along Kenny.  Bow is looking really good.  Can't wait to see it.

How much snow did you get?

I never thought about wiping glue boogers before putting them in the oven.  That saves some time and hassle.

Thanks for sharing.

David, around 4" , no drifts yet, but light and fluffy. - 1 this morning and colder tomorrow, then eases up for bowhunting!!    :D  Deer should be quite hungry and patternable!

Eric, that makes it a lot easier for sure, wish I'd thought of it a long time back! LOL

Shot thru machine with a 10gpp arrow, (way underspined with a 250 f point) shot 174 fps

Will try to get a better arrow and one at 9gpp as time permits...

Here are some pics after much sanding, spraying, and watching it come off the hanger and fall in the sawdust on floor!! LOL

The hole patched with sawdust and CA and ground as usual....

You can see a little sanding marks on patch, next time I'll handsand with 150 on patch...

A limb pic, not bad for a gray board the kiln guy gave me for free!! LOL

String relief on tips...

Full draw(almost) 17* out, brrrr

And first  3 at 20 yds the 3D target, it shoots same arrows as the 48# recurve. Bareshafted perfect with a little nock adjustment!!

I think we'll go hunting tonight and see if the deer approve of her!   :bigsmyl:

Absolutely awesome build along Kenny. Gave a lot of us some useful tips! A masterpiece bow as well. Those lams are just gorgeous! The line about the bow falling off the hanger into the sawdust gave me a warm feeling. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that has that kind of thing happen!  :)  Mike

Is that black phenol in the I-beam ? That riser is looking absolutely awesome. I guess on my next one I'll try something like that as well.
How about the tapered glass, do you notice any difference in performance or handling ? It would be great if you could do some speed measurements.
