Here in SW Pa where I live, we lose power a lot for some reason. So about 10 years ago I bought a 6,000 watt Generator. It will run the whole house if needed. But normally when I need it, we don't run anything that needs 220 volts. 220 volt appliances really draw it down. But it does a fine job with the furnace, two fridges, freezer, tv, computer, and lights. Oh and the beer fridge:)

Yep cold as #$%$ here - supposed to drop to -1 or so tonight with 15 mph - will make for a cool morning to go sit.  Least I am not in ND with the 50 below!

And I complain of the 30 degree light frost we are getting south of San Antonio. You Florida fellas got an extra room?   :biglaugh:    :dunno:

Lotsa room here on the Gulf Coast Mike!  Y'all can stay aboard my boat and I'll camp at my Lady's house.  We're into 70s/60s for the next ten days or so, great sleeping weather on the boat.  Yesterday was a near record high of 86F!!

Was -5 last night when I was out. -17 with the windchill.

It's 33 here and windy. I wish it was 70 outside. The perfect christmas tree for this guy is a palm tree   ;)

Our usual swings last couple weeks from -20 to +70.  Can't go anywhere for more than a day without packing for any possibility!  :)
