Bow repair
« on: December 23, 2013, 04:41:00 PM »
Need some help. At the end of archery season, the riser on my Check Mate hunter seperated along the glue line. My thought for the repair is Tite Bond III and c-clamp it while it dries. Anybody have a better idea?? I can't post pics, but can text them if need be.

I'd use a thin epoxy or better yet loctite 420 over the tite bond. Wick it into the crack and clamp until it is cured.

Yep, super thin cyanocrylite will wick down into the bottom of the crsck. Titebond won't.
