Bow #2 a Christmas Gift for a Friend
« on: December 23, 2013, 05:48:00 PM »
I've been out of the forum over the last month. As a heating contractor, father of 4 and building a bow I haven't been able to engage much. At any rate, here is my 2nd glass bow. Had some great materials from Kennym for this one. Built for a friend that lives in TX. She is a compound shooter wanting to convert to the trad side....
61" overall and 60" ntn. 40#@28". Composed of bocote riser and limb veneers. Action wood cores and clear glass on back with black glass on belly. Overlays, tips and accents are blac/white phenolic. Shoots really well! I love the classic Hill design - simple, elegant and a real performer.

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm planning my 3rd bow now. I have 2 more freebies to build for friends and family before I can build one for me. The wait will be long, but well worth it. These folks have done much for me over the years and it's the least I can do to show appreciation.

Looks like a great tool to switch over to the Traditional lifestyle with.  She will be very pleased.  Well done.
