3 bows for 3 brothers finished
« on: December 28, 2013, 12:43:00 PM »
Would have loved to be able to see their faces when they saw them under the Christmas tree. They sure do have an awesome dad. All Osage, all backed with deerhide.

This guy was my favorite and the roughest to part with of the three. Conquered a mean prop twist in the handle and fades that's still kinda there, but was way worse originally. A gnarly stave but worked out and shoots like a beast.

Thanks guys!

BCWV: haha I had other names in mind but their dad, the buyer, kindly asked if I would put their nic names on the bows. The buyer is king.

super job!  Remember a flax backed snaky oak bow that was in the MoJam auction many years ago?  The grip is just like those you just finished...  :)
