Went out hunting with my new Kenny m bow- I just love that bow!!
Perfect spot and set up
Saw nothing, lots of bear sign.
Got real cold  so came home.
Still got about five weeks left of the season.
Tomorrow's another day.

David I just sprayed mine with buffalo hide and didn't effect them at all.  Probably made them tougher

This is my day off so I got to work on my option two for the bow swap and then take a break and seal my new deck...

Sorry about that...we are having above average temperature and we are really in need of rain. The up side is nice weather the down side is farmers may not be able to plant some of our greatly needed crops. We are praying for rain here in the valley and snow in mountains.

Well, pig hunting was great.  Not successful in returning with the pork, but got into pigs several times.  Just was not able successful in a getting a good shot.  One attempt involved a lower limb and a large oak tree though with my new bow.  Nothing like battle scars...

Daydreaming about my swap bow during work today.  Need to sort through some lumber in barn tonight and see if I can find something to send to Kenny to make lams out of.  I wanted to do walnut, but seems like that's being covered in spades this year.  Might try something different instead...we'll see.

Picked out the handle wood for my swap bow today-100 year cured black walnut from a structure we have here on the property-the color is amazing and it's hard as stone.  Feel pretty good about it.
