Hopefully not scrap Ben, it sounds like a looker.
I spent a few hours in the freezer, I mean shop today. It was 17F. in there. I got some work done on some risers, salvaged another riser from a failed bow and cut a big slab of mahogany into the shape of the African continent for a base for an oryx that my taxidermist friend is working on.
By that time, the cold had crept into my feet and that was all for me.
Dave.

I'd like to see a pic of that Dave! It sounds pretty cool.

Been working a lot of over time the last month or so, and I haven't been able to get out to the shop much. I did get up to the range and fling a few out of my current build. I think I got the grip just about perfect now, and it shoots pretty darn good. I'll get some pics up as soon as I get the finish on, and can get someone to take a full draw pic.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Souped up my dust collector by adding a Thien Baffle, so we shall see if it is as effective as they say. Bue--.

A youngster from the neighborhood asked us if we could help him with his archery school project. To give him a deeper insight we figured it might be best to build a bow with him. The riser is made of padauk and maple. For the limbs we use action boo and osage...

Nice saw.    Wait till you start using it. Mine still impresses me after several months in my shop.

Nice Tom! I also found my first sheds this year ... also an 8pt ... they were right next toi each other ...

Been trying to train my dog to find them .... she's smart (border collie) but also completely uninterested ... needless to say it's not going well. I'm hoping to have better luck using her for busting up turkey flocks in the fall ... at least thats something she likes ... chasing things that move.
